Ilkari, a leader in sovereign infrastructure, has been awarded DCOS Maturity Level 4 certification, the second highest recognition in the industry for operational excellence under the Data Centre Operations Standard (DCOS). This makes Ilkari the first commercial data centre in Latin America, excluding the Caribbean, to achieve Level 4.
The certification was issued by EPI, a globally recognised data centre audit and certification authority.

Ilkari’s modern data centre, located in the Tocancipá Free Trade Zone near Bogotá, Colombia, is engineered to scale with customer demands. The facility now holds a trio of globally recognised certifications:
- DCOS Level 4 – for mature, auditable operations
- TIA-942-C Rated-3 – for resilient, fault-tolerant infrastructure
- SS 564 – for sustainable operations using renewable energy sources like hydropower

With AI workloads increasing pressure on infrastructure—often requiring 3x the power of traditional IT equipment—Ilkari has also introduced a high-density pod designed to support 10–15+ kW per rack, GPU-powered deployments, and rack-level metering.
The certification marks another step in Ilkari’s mission to lead the next phase of digital infrastructure in Latin America.
